2021 Deep River Lacrosse Spring Programs

Deep River Lacrosse is a youth recreational lacrosse program. We compete in the PCLA Spring Recreational League. Lacrosse is a fast paced, high scoring game, and is known as the "Fastest Game on Two Feet"! It is also currently the fastest growing sport in the US and NC.

The goals and objectives for our program is to provide instruction for New and Experienced players on the fundamental skills of lacrosse and elevate their game.

NEVER PLAYED BEFORE.....No problem. Our program is a recreational program designed for players to get started in the game.

NO EQUIPMENT.....No Problem. Deep River Lacrosse offers an affordable equipment rental program.


Deep River Lacrosse has suspended our Spring Programs but will be starting back up with FREE summer clinics followed by our popular Fall Clinic


K - 2nd Grade Learn to Play Program

Designed to give new players the opportunity to learn about the game with a reduced cost and time commitment.

·      Sessions– Start Wednesday 3/11 and will run 8 consecutive Wednesday evenings

·      Time– 6:00pm to 7:00pm

·      Format– 45 minutes of instructional drills / 15 minutes of small sided games

·      Place– Leonard Recreation Center, 6324 Ballinger Rd, Greensboro, NC 27410. Conveniently located just north of Interstate 40 off the new urban loop.

·      Equipment– Stick, Soft lacrosse ball, mouthpiece

·      Equipment provided– All players will be issued a stick that they hold onto for the duration of the session. There is a $50 deposit required but we do not cash the check. Once the stick is returned we will hand your check back.

·      Player supplied equipment needs– Mouthpiece and sneakers or cleats

·      Cost- $50


Recreational Season

Deep River Lacrosse is a youth recreational lacrosse program. We compete in the PCLA Spring Recreational League. Teams are gender and grade based.

·      Divisions

o   Girls – Elementary Grades K – 5 / Middle School 6 – 8

o   Boys – K – 2nd/ 3rd– 4th/ 5th– 6th/ 7th– 8th

·      Practices – Start Wednesday 2/12 and start at 6:15pm

  • Practices held atSouthwest Guilford HS lacrosse practice field located at 4364 Barrow Rd, High Point
  • Games– Are played on Saturdays starting 3/7 and run through our season ending Laxfest tournament on 5/16
  • Game locations change week to week

·      Equipment– Rental equipment available during registration process – deposit required

o   Cost for girls programs $10

o   Cost for boys programs $25

·      Program Cost– Varies by division

o   $125 Girls divisions and Boys K – 2ndand Boys 3rd– 4th

o   $140 Boys 5th– 6thgrade division

o   $150 Boys 7th– 8thgrade division
